WA v SA

Dear readers

WA is doing well against SA.

It was not an easy ride though. Jasper and Sunyee easily beat Ong and Wong in 2 sets.

Celina and Alicia also won in 2 sets.

Xiang and Tyz had a tougher fight against the Edison brothers. They had to go 3 sets before putting the match away.

Amelia and Phoebe could not win against SA losing in 2 sets.

Jason won in 2 easy sets against Irvin.

Phoebe had her first singles win after fighting for 3 sets against Yasmin Say. She has done her parents proud.

Tyz had to play 3 sets before overcoming Jonathan Wong. Amelia won in 2 sets against Georgia Zhang.

Celina also won in 2 sets against Guna. This was her first singles win.

Xiang had no problems winning in 2 sets against Keith Edison.

Alicia fought well but lost in 3 sets against Aroonsiri.

She managed to get her mixed doubles with Sunyee winning in 2 sets,

Phoebe and Tyz also won in 2 easy sets.

Celina and Xiang also had easy wins.

Kai and Amelia fought but lose in 3 sets to Aroon and Edison.

We managed to get 13 games giving us the confidence to face NSW 2 in the afternoon.
