All WA players have finished their games.
Xiang played Justin Lee in the quarters but had to concede after 2 sets at 17 and 19. That was the end of the tournament for Xiang and he should be ranked.
Gavin also played his qtrs against Simon Leung. Gav went down 21/9 and 21/17. He must be disappointed but will at least be ranked in the top 8.
Gav then finished the tournament with his MX plate final game with Bella. They lost in 2 sets against Patil and S Fan. Gav also lost his Plate doubles with Edward. That is the end of the tournament too for Gav but his parents should be proud of what he has achieved. He has been a real bonus to WA's badminton future.
Tyz finished his plate singles after fighting 3 sets against J Schuler. The first set was won by Tyz at 26/24. I am glad I was not watching. Tyz lost the next 2 sets and I am sure was disappointed. John Taing went on to win the plate against Schuler also in 3 sets.
That is the end of the tournament for Tyz. He will have to train harder for next year's Under 19s. I am proud of what he has done fighting every point.
Bella and Amanda also lost their plate doubles today. Never mind, we will get further next year.
Well, WA's players are all out of the comp now.
So much has been learned by all the players. They all made their parents proud.
Andrew and Jillian Chai have been most supportive of the team and all the players.
Dinner has been arranged for the team on Sunday to celebrate the bronze medal.
Tomorrow , we will have to watch from the sides as the finalist play off.
