Dear readers
The tournament has kicked off. WA played the President's team on Sat.
The team scrapped through with a 9/7 win.
The boys are doing well. The girls are having a tougher time as they are younger and less experienced. However, the team is fighting all the way.
The parents are supporting the team from every where including back home in WA.
I woke up on Saturday to find 300 whatsapp messages keeping everyone updated with the scores.
Good work on the parents and team manager for updating everyone.
SY Choong got her national victory in the team event winning her singles. Good on her. Anjali had a 3 setter but had to bow out in her singles. She won her mixed doubles. Phoebe and Alicia also had problems against the older girls.
It was a close fight. The day will be tougher tomorrow.
