Dear readers
The WA team had their first day of competition on Sunday.
They played Vic Rebels.
The results below will show that WA went down fighting but had to concede a 6/10 loss to Vic. Bernice and Sun Yee both fought through 3 setters in their singles to win and keep the dream alive.
Jason and Sunyee also fought 3 setters in their doubles to keep WA competitive.
Ryan Tan and Alicia fought 3 setters in their mixed but had to concede to Ross Audley and M Zhao. Likewise Janice and Bernice lost their 3 sets fight in the doubles.
It was up to the brother and sis team of KC and Bernice, to win the last MD with a 3 setter. I am sure Sok Teoh was screaming from the side.
WA's players have given their all for the first match. Let's hope they do better in the next match.
