Dear friends
What happened in 2015 as far as the Under 19s are concerned. Well, WA could not field a team. Only my son Tyzton and Gavin flew to the nationals to take part in the Nationals individual events. They did not progress far as there was not enough leadup games to keep them sharp as there was no team event.
Well, this year, the WA team have flown to Sydney but without a full team.
They have only got 6 boys and 1 girl to represent WA.
The boys are:
1. Tyzton Tan (Captain)
2. Ying Xiang Lin
3. Jasper Tan
4. Jason Lee
5. Kai Chen Teoh
6. Sun Yee Zheng
There is only young Alicia Xu representing the girls. We are forming the team with back up girls from NSW. These are girls who have not made the first or 2nd NSW team but we are still grateful that they can help us make a team.
The coach is Ryan Lin and the Manager YuanQi Tay.
My wife, Jazton and myself are flying to Sydney tomorrow to give the team moral support.
